Cleaning and pickling products
The most important step when preparing the metal surface is cleaning. Impurities from prior processing steps, such as machining oils, emulsions, metal chips and other dirt, are removed in this process. A pickling stage may also be required, as welded constructions, scaled, and partially corroded surfaces are also processed in addition to folded or stamped sheets. Kluthe offers the alkaline degreasing agents of the HAKUPUR series, acid pickling agents DECORRDAL 29 or DECORRDAL 35 as well as the neutral pickling agents of the DECORRDAL 20-series.
For the preparation of steel and iron substrates prior to hot dip galvanizing, Kluthe has developed a taylor-made range of alkaline and acidic degreasers, surfactants, acidic pickles and pickling additives. Find more information in the attached flyer below.
