Paint detackification

Different coating systems, different plant types, varying process conditions: the requirements on paint detackification can vary widely and change quickly. This requires an assortment of modern detackification products that ensure high process safety through universal properties.

Our coagulants for solvent-based paints not only have excellent detackifying properties due to their high adsorption capacity, but they also have outstanding water-clarifying properties. In combination with a suitable additive, they are thus also suitable for the detackification of water-based paints as well as for mixed coagulation of water- and solvent-based paints. The products are low in salt and chloride and thus do not cause encrustation or corrosion in the exhaust system and water-bearing system components. The products specially developed for water-based paints feature high yield and are characterized by their foam-damping properties.

In most cases, the detackification process requires the dosing of several components (coagulants, flocculation agents, defoamers, other additives). Combining products that work well together is the basis for economical use.
