for fasteners – HAKUFORM
The fasteners and drawing parts produced from wire through multi-stage cold heading generally do not yet have their final geometry. Complex drawing parts are often further processed through machining using cooling lubricants, while fasteners – on the other hand – are generally not cut (e.g., thread forming).
The fasteners are further processed with different lubricants (depending on the deformation and material). We offer HAKUFORM high-performance lubricants for the following forming procedures:
- Cold calibration
- Thread forming by rolling, pressure forming, and cutting
- Machining
- Hollow drilling
Advantages
- High forming performance
- Products for different materials
- High tool life
- Low consumption
- Best surface qualities
- Optimal matching to the previous cold forming and subsequent final coating, if applicable, resulting in less cleaning and a long service life.
- Easy cleaning
